Building upon the gains made in its first year, PGA Tour Canada has announced a 12 tournament schedule for 2014.

The second year will see the Tour stretch from coast-to-coast starting with the recently confirmed PC Financial Open in Vancouver on May 29 and concluding with the Tour Championship in London, Ont. on September 14.

After kicking off the season in Vancouver, the Tour heads to Victoria for the 32nd playing of the Bayview Place Island Savings Open – the longest running professional event in Canada. Following an off week, the Tour resumes at the Syncrude Boreal Open in Fort McMurray, Alberta.

The SIGA Dakota Dunes Open near Saskatoon will mark the first of three events in as many weeks followed by The Players Cup in Winnipeg and the inaugural Thunder Bay Golf Classic – the second of three new events on the schedule. Following the Thunder Bay event, the top three players on the PGA Tour Canada Order of Merit will earn exemptions into the RBC Canadian Open, scheduled for Royal Montreal from July 24th-27th.

Following the PGA Tour event, the season resumes with the ATB Financial Classic in Calgary, which moves to a new date, July 31st – August 3rd. Players will then compete at the inaugural Forces and Families Open in Ottawa, which supports the men and women of the Canadian Armed Forces and their families.

After a one week break, the season begins its run to the finish with four events in four weeks, starting with The Great Waterway Classic just outside of Kingston, Ont., followed by The Wildfire Invitational near Peterborough, Ont., the Cape Breton Celtic Classic outside Sydney, Nova Scotia and concluding with the Tour Championship of Canada in London, Ont.
