Graham DeLaet with caddie Julien Trudeau

Graham DeLaet has been experiencing neck pain the last month, which has resulted in the 32-year-old withdrawing from three of his first four events on the 2014-15 PGA Tour season.

In a statement Friday, DeLaet said the neck pain has affected his ability to play, and the unforeseen pain led him to withdraw from the CIMB Classic in Malaysia after just one hole, and the World Golf Championship HSBC Champions event in China after nine holes.

"It's not something that bothers me day-to-day, but only comes up when swinging the golf club," said DeLaet.

He also withdrew from the Shriners Hospitals for Children Open in Las Vegas earlier in October prior to the event starting.

"I'm working with my team to figure out the cause so then I can get back to playing pain-free golf. I'm looking forward to returning to competition in the very near future," DeLaet continued.

The native of Weyburn, Sask. earned $2.6 million (USD) in 2013-14 after making 18 cuts in 24 events.
