Corey Conners, Canada's top ranked amateur golfer, climbed to a career-best No. 8 in the world after gaining nine spots over the past week. The Kent State grad is scheduled to play in his first Masters tournament next spring so long as he maintains his amateur status.

Austin Connelly, the No. 2 ranked amateur in Canada and newly minted member of Golf Canada's national squad, climbed five spots to No. 13 in the world rankings. The Texas-born Connelly, who holds dual citizenship, finished third in stroke play at the Polo Golf Junior Classic – the first tournament of the American Junior Golf Association's 2015 season. However, he was ousted in the first round of match play, 6 & 5, by eventual champion Spencer Soosman, who was competing in his first ever match play tournament.

On the amateur women's side, Muni He climbed from No. 15 to No. 13 in the Canadian rankings following her performance at the Polo Golf Junior Classic. The Pitt Meadows, B.C. golfer finished tie for 20th in stroke play and made it all the way to the second round of match play before losing.

Graham DeLaet fell one spot to No. 52 as Brendon Todd passed him on the world ranking list. As previously mentioned, DeLaet needs to be inside the top 50 by the end of the year in order to get an automatic invitation into the Masters.

Lorie Kane climbed four spots to reclaim the No. 5 ranking in Canada among women, just as she prepares to improve her LPGA status heading into 2015 at this week's q-school. The four time Tour winner, who turns 50 on December 19th, didn't need to go through the grind of what many consider will be one of the most competitive qualifying school's to date, however, after finishing 133rd on the money list, Kane is looking to improve her status so she can get into more tournaments next year. Kane, who attended her first q-school back in 1995, needs one more top-10 result to give her 100 in her LPGA career.
