A new father, Raptors big man Jonas Valanciunas was given the night off Friday.
Valanciunas's wife Egle gave birth late Thursday. The baby boy weighed in at seven pounds 11 ounces, said Toronto coach Dwane Casey.
"He's a proud father of Jonas Junior," Casey told reporters before Friday's game against the visiting Miami Heat.
The seven-footer from Lithuania was with his wife in Toronto.
