This is a ranking of compensation paid in fiscal 2010 to the CEOs of the 100 largest public companies (by market capitalization) in the S&P/TSX composite index, as of Dec. 31, 2010. For companies with no CEO, the president or similar top executive is used. Where two names appear, the company has co-CEOs.
For companies that report in U.S. dollars, amounts are converted to Canadian dollars at the average annual exchange rate for 2010 ($1.0299 Canadian). If the company has an irregular year end, the exchange rate is the rate used by the company for conversion purposes.
