Calgary health officials never said the city's brush with measles was over, and Wednesday's news showed why.

Two more cases of the airborne disease have been confirmed, increasing the number of people infected to five. While the two new cases are still under investigation, this much is known: the two individuals are linked to one another and there is no travel history, no visits to the Netherlands or the Philippines where measles has contaminated thousands and killed dozens.

The new Calgary cases involve, "multiple exposure settings, including a Calgary area high school," according to an Alberta Health Services advisory.

That school is believed to be Western Canada High School, which drew warnings in late January of a possible measles exposure.

Southern Alberta had 42 recent confirmed cases of measles before calling the outbreak over. More than 300 people in B.C.'s Fraser Valley are infected.
