In a sweeping change, British PM David Cameron plans to created nationwide filters to ban pornographic sites at the network node level in co-operation with the United Kingdom’s largest internet service providers. All new Internet subscribers will encounter a default “porn-off” setting, but will still be able to access the content if they choose to opt in.

Windsor police have launched an investigation after learning that a young woman made live online sex shows – apparently at library branches and coffee shops.

Police say videos circulating online show a woman exposing herself and masturbating inside what appears to be Windsor public library locations and Tim Hortons' coffee houses.

CBC News has reported the woman performed graphic sex acts multiple times between November of last year and the end of January and streamed it all online from two Windsor library branches.

Police are calling for the public's help in identifying the woman, whom they describe as in her 20s with long, curly brown hair.

Sgt. Matthew D'Asti says they are confident they'll identify the woman because she is clearly visible in the videos.

D'Asti says the woman was using her own laptop computer to stream the videos and would cover herself when someone would walk by.

He says the investigation is looking into the possible violation of laws governing nudity and indecent acts.

"We are aware that these types of things happen on the web, however when this individual chooses to bring this to a public space it becomes a concern for us because people who are using that public space in a lawful purpose may unintentionally come across this activity," D'Asti says.
