The car crash broke Andrew MacDonald’s right arm, left femur and both his kneecaps and ankles – but it didn’t deter him from taking a selfie.

The B.C. man posted a YouTube video earlier this week of the Jan. 11 incident. He says in the post that rescuers cut him out of his car with the Jaws of Life after he says he drove into a pole at 60 kilometres an hour in Duncan, B.C. (Warning: The video contains some coarse language.)

Mr. MacDonald, who said he was not drinking or under the influence at the time, was in surgery for 14 hours in Victoria and spent a month in hospital. He told CBC News that he is expected to walk again in time.
