Archie has been carving for over 25 years and he learned to carve by watching his brother work. He's based in Iqaluit and some of his carvings include women caring for children, hunters and Inuit legends. It took him three days to create this sculpture of a hunter. The Inuit people have had a long history of creativity dating back over a thousand years and art is an important part of their culture.
