Coming soon to a crib near you: Amandla Stenberg stars as Rue in "The Hunger Games"

Move over Aidan and Olivia, hello Rue and Emmett?A new report suggests the most popular baby names this year will move away from traditional favourites and take their cues from pop culture.

The website Nameberry analyzed nearly three million page views of individual names and compared them to the same period last year. What they found is the names getting most of the attention are very different than last year and have much to do with celebrities.

For instance, Rue is predicted to become a new hit name. For the uninitiated, Rue is the name of a character in the wildly popular books and movie The Hunger Games.

Other names expected to move up the popularity charts? It's no surprise that Ivy is getting a lot of attention, after Beyonce and Jay-Z named their daughter Blue Ivy.

For boys, the name Emmett will become a big hit, inspired perhaps by the popularity of girls' names Emma and Emily. Perhaps it's also no surprise Emmett is the name of a character in the Twilight franchise.

Weston and similar names Wesley and West also appear popular among parents, according to the report. But Weston is by far the most popular, and is also the name actress Jenna Fischer gave her son last year.

Rounding out the list:

Adele (and similar name Adelaide), after the British singer,

Aria, new to Nameberry's most popular list

Cyrus, made popular thanks to a range of influences, such as the fact it's an ancient royal name, can be shortened to the nickname Cy and is the last name of Miley and her notorious Cyrus clan.

Estelle, a variation on long-time favourites Stella, Sophia, Isabella and Olivia

Cato, the name of a Hunger Games villain

Blythe, which doesn't have huge pop culture influences (except being the name of actress Blythe Danner, who is also Gwyneth Paltrow's mom), but Nameberry predicts this will become a big choice for middle name in the near future.

Would you name your baby after a celebrity or a popular character in a trendy book or movie?
