who is buying and selling

Oil and gas insiders bought aggressively in December as stocks were putting in their lows. While on balance buyers still dominate, we are seeing some selective selling. For example, over the past 30 days four insiders at Crescent Point Energy Corp. sold a total of $1-million worth of stock into the public market. While the amount is not particularly large, the selling serves as a cautionary sign that more sector volatility may lie ahead. The selling could also signal that deeper value might exist elsewhere in the sector.
