For this week's live discussion at Inside the Market, we were joined by Ben Homsy, fixed income strategist with wealth management firm Leith Wheeler.

In this wide-ranging discussion, he'll be sharing his views on where interest rates and bond prices will now be heading in the aftermath of the Bank of Canada's surprise quarter-point rate cut last week, as well as his outlook for the euro zone and future U.S. Federal Reserve policy actions. While Mr. Homsy will also be sharing some views on the Canadian equity market, this chat is aimed at giving Canadians some concrete ideas on what to do with their fixed income portfolios.

Mr. Homsy is a Chartered Accountant who joined the institutional portfolio management team at Leith Wheeler in August 2014, with over 15 years of experience spanning three continents. He joined the firm from JPMorgan in San Francisco, where he was responsible for the Institutional forex sales business on the west coast of the United states and in Western Canada.
