Four-time Indianapolis 500 winner and current car owner A.J. Foyt.ROBIN JERSTAD/Reuters

A.J. Foyt's team will be pulling double duty next season.

The IndyCar team owner announced Wednesday that he has hired Jack Hawksworth and Takuma Sato as full-time drivers in 2015.

It's the first time in 13 seasons that Foyt's team will have two full-time cars. What made it possible this year was a commitment from ABC Supply Company to sponsor both cars in 2015 and 2016.

Sato won two poles in 2014 and won his first career race in 2013. The Japanese driver is entering his third season with Foyt.

Hawksworth, of England, qualified in the top six in three of his first six races last season. He finished a season-best third in the second race at Houston and was named the Tony Renna Rising Star Award as a rookie.
