Dirty hands and fixing old trucks go hand in hand. And I'm really glad there are hand cleaners that cut through that grime.
I've been using Luster Sheen and Fast Orange for years but not too long ago I decided to try Gojo Cherry Gel. To test it, I tore apart the brakes on the old '65 Ford and made sure my hands were dirty (that was easy!). That's when it went sideways. It is extremely pungent. It smells like they dumped cherry cough syrup into a vat of petroleum distillates and both scents are fighting to out-stink the other.
The cleaner works really well. The pumice is effective as a nice exfoliator to drag out all the oil and grease. Compared with the other favoured cleaners, my hands did come clean quicker but I had to wash again to get rid of the candy-coated odour.
So even though my hands are clean, it's two thumbs down on the Gojo Cherry Gel.
