POLAR GRIP SNOW BRUSH

  • Available at: Canadian Tire, Lowes and Rona
  • Price: $19.99-22.99

Sorry folks, there is still potential for more snow this winter. According to the snowfall statistics from currentresults.com, it is likely that at least 25 centimetres of snow will fall in Toronto before the end of April. The good news is that's almost a third of what Calgary can expect.

If you are still fighting the accumulation of "freshies" on your windshield with a wood handle snowbrush, there is a design that will brush the rest of the season away with ease.

Check out the swivel head snow brush by Polar Grip – it's great for sweeping off larger vehicles. The handle extends from 91 to 130 centimetres, making a clean sweep across the windshield. I like how the thick-bristled head can swivel from brush to broom. That way the snow can come straight off the windshield and not into the air vents. A quick push of the button has the head back in line with the handle for brushing the rest of the auto. When the deed is done, push the buttons and it can easily store under the seat.

How well the plastic buttons and the extended aluminum handle stand up to the springtime heavy wet snow is everyone's guess.
