Mahima Singh is a data editor at The Globe and Mail. She has reported on the legal system, war, crime, politics, business, and natural disasters across the world through a data lens.

Her work involves finding creative ways to merge computational science and journalism.

Previously, she automated news at the Digital Data Desk (D3) for The Canadian Press. Before that, Singh worked at the data desk on the investigative team for the Palm Beach Post, where she covered then-President Trump, school shootings, hurricanes, and the drug epidemic in South Florida. In 2019, she was a visual and data journalist with the BBC covering South and East Asian media.
